Electronic Archive & Document Numbering

A web application for the IT division that issues document numbers automatically and keeps a searchable electronic archive.
Built for an employer, so the code and screenshots are confidential. This page describes the problem and my contribution; the figures come from my CV.
The problem
Document numbers were assigned by hand and archives were kept on paper and shared folders, which made documents slow to find and numbers easy to duplicate.
What I did
Designed the database and business process, then built the application in CodeIgniter 4.
Automatic numbering per division and document type, plus upload, search and retrieval.
Became my thesis at Politeknik STMI Jakarta.
Outcome
Manual document processing reduced by 30%.
