Internal Operations Platforms

Internal web platforms that replace manual, spreadsheet-driven processes for the operations teams around the auction business.
Built for an employer, so the code and screenshots are confidential. This page describes the problem and my contribution; the figures come from my CV.
The problem
Operations teams were re-typing data between systems and tracking work by hand, which was slow and error-prone.
What I did
Gathered requirements directly with operational teams and turned them into data models and workflows.
Built and optimised the backend and admin interfaces, with validation at every step instead of after-the-fact checks.
Outcome
Manual processes reduced by 25%.
Administrative work became faster and easier to audit.
